Fight with son over chicken, father killed son!

The incident which resulted in the murder of the son took place in Guttigaru village of Sulya taluk of Dakshina Kannada district due to a fight between father and son over chicken broth.

The dead person is Sivaram (35), son of Sheena, a resident of Erangudde Matrumajalu. Sheena and her son Shivaram had a fight over chicken. Shivaram has been married for 9 years and has two little children aged six and one.

When Shivaram returned home drunk, he had a fight with his family about the lack of chicken broth during dinner. At this time, there was a verbal fight between Sheenappa and Shivaram and the situation turned to disaster and the father Sheenappa hit his son on the head with a stick. Son Shivaram died on the spot after his head was broken due to a strong blow given by his father.

Kavitha, the wife of the murdered person, filed a complaint in this regard at the Subrahmanya police station.
